Plot:
An amusing comedy of errors, set in ancient Rome, directed by Mariano
Laurenti. Guy (Gianfranco D'Angelo) and Caio (Alvaro Vitali) - two reluctant and awkward Praetorians - dressed as women
are bought by mistake as slaves by the zealous officer Tigellinus (Toni Ucci). Proposals such as ladies in waiting to
the beautiful Poppea (Maria Baxa), Titian and the ugly Caia accepted willingly by the Divine hopes to avoid any
temptation to Emperor Nero (Oreste Lionello). Involved in countless palace intrigues hatched by the numerous enemies of
Poppea, they combine the two poor men of cooked and raw may even end up to the lions.

Trama:
Una divertente commedia degli equivoci, ambientata nella Roma antica,
diretta da Mariano Laurenti. Tizio (Gianfranco D'Angelo) e Caio (Alvaro Vitali) - due riluttanti e goffi pretoriani -
travestiti da donne vengono acquistati per sbaglio come schiave dallo zelante funzionario Tigellino (Toni Ucci).
Proposte come dame di compagnia alla splendida Poppea (Maria Baxa), le bruttissime Tizia e Caia sono accettate di buon
grado dalla Divina che spera così di evitare ogni tentazione all'Imperatore Nerone (Oreste Lionello). Coinvolti negli
innumerevoli intrighi di palazzo orditi dai numerosi nemici di Poppea, i due poveri uomini ne combineranno di cotte e di
crude rischiando addirittura di finire in pasto ai leoni.
